And as well all know, the better goal was...the first one.
I prefer the second. Anyone can bang one in from 35 yards. The second is pure essence of Marcus. It's the Ipswich version of the Archie Gemmill in Trainspotting.

That first quarter of an hour was so depressing. Stewart turned everything on its head in minutes. Love the guy forever.
Watched it in a pub in Hull with 4 very gobby Bolton fans behind me.
I went actual batsh1t crazy when he got the second, running around the pub screaming all of the good swearwords, quickly; it is one of the wonders of my adult life that they didn't kick the living crap out of me.

Whilst I love your analogy, I prefer the first goal. Purely for the fact that he doesn't look up to see where the goal is.
I remember before that ball left his foot thinking that he'd been awful in that game and wasn't up to the price tag. From that moment on he became the best player I've seen play for town in my lifetime.
My missus persuaded me to get the supporters coach with her up to the game, and I was cursing all the way there. It was even worse during the first half. The journey home was something else though.

And, the first one changed the tie.
From another year of doom to OMFG we can do this.
What a tie that was.
Can't think of many play-off ties that have had as many twists and turns as that since. Didn't we only take the lead for the first time when we went 6-5 up?

Aye, the Clapham penalty in extra time.
The Reuser goal to make it 5-3 is perhaps the hardest I've ever celebrated a Town goal; it's between that, Bryan Gunn and Pablo vs Cov.

I think mine is Noel Hunt v Charlton.
Was an away game/ old reunion for lots of friends. Had a heavy day on the beers and what not, and about 5 minutes into injury time my mate said "I think a 0-0 at Charlton will be the most memorable game of my life".

I was in Northampton at the time, fresh from being kicked out of uni and taking a job in a pub kitchen (little did I know then that would become my trade) I was living in a student place with a Gillingham fan and I remember that as a pretty mental week. Ipswich and the Gills got promoted through the play-offs. Mitsubishi Turbos all round, back when the little fellas were still king.

Second leg highlights here....
Of all the christ knows how many ITFC games I have seen in the 66 years of my life I think that that game has to top the lot for tension and emotional switches.
