Ironically, I was chatting to a Chelsea fan on Friday night who went to Ipswich games in the late 70's/early 80''s cause he loved Sir Bobby. When he took the England job, he started following England everywhere.

There is something about Conte that makes him really likeable, it's probably his humble nature and his antics on the touchline.

I actually don't like Conte, his insistence on making out his multi million pound team is some sort of unbelievable achievement frustrates me. He came in to one of the best teams in the league, spent more and had no European competitions.
The over day he was talking about how great they've done considering the amount the rest have spent. Come on, Chelsea's team is worth huge amounts this isn't some sort of miracle it's to be expected.

I didn't mean in terms of managerial ability but personality, Conte is evidently a very good manager. I just don't buy his 'against the odds' story with the squad he has. | | | |
