I'm still gutted about not winning the league under Sir Bobby and the pain still feels fresh every time I read about it. In those last 4 or 5 weeks, our players were just exhausted. Players would be on the phone to their agents if they had to play more than 30 games these days!

The counter argument is that it was one hell of a squad in terms of spirit and togetherness though.

Although, unfortunately, I do not remember those days (I was 7 and uninterested - poor Dad!) I do look at that league table with sadness.
