2-3 nights with no kids - where to go?? 13:57 - May 23 with 2859 views | Damster | Any ideas where to visit in U.K. For 2-3 nights. Was looking at European break but seems a lot of hassle for short time. Something relaxing in Uk will be fine... few bars... bit of shopping and some walks will be fine. Happy to chill out at hotel or log cabin etc for something different. Anywhere on doorstep or further afield would be considered. Help!!!

Maybe stay in York and head up to the Dales for a day for a walk?

Or he could head down Surrey way... and there's an award winning pub that would be a fine place to visit... so I'm told, anyway...

Also recommend Antwerp. From airport to city centre in 30 mins. Loads to do/see and good vibes all round. [Post edited 23 May 2017 15:33]

You can get a 4 star hotel for 3 nights with flight for less than £300 all in at the moment

Another thumbs up for Belfast. Giants Causeway is magnificent. Stay at The Europa hotel in Belfast, it's very nice with loads of history and a great pub opposite. You will need a car. That said, you are back to flying again and if you are going to fly my favourite place is Jerez and El Perto De Santa Maria. Otherwise Brighton.

| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.
