Interesting Mick Stat... 18:38 - May 24 with 872 viewsKeaneish

In November this year, Mick McCarthy will become the 2nd longest serving Championship manager to have managed at one club behind Dave Jones (Cardiff City) who, in his 6 years management, achieved an FA Cup final, play-off final and a play-off spot.

Add this duration to MM's time at Sunderland and Wolves in the Championship and he has spent significantly more time in the Championship than any other Championship manager since the Championship's inception - 9 years of the 13 its been in existence.

Nothing to read into it as such, just an interesting observation i thought.

Not to take away from your fact but I despise these Championship/Premier League stats. It's the same league. It's a pet hate of mine. Changing the name means nothing.

Truly impaired.
