It's something that'll get used once in a blue moon so don't want anything fancy, and none of my selfish immediate friends or family seem to have one I can borrow.
Something cheap and cheerful that will at least work. I have seen some of those 12v cigarette lighter efforts that are clearly crap so not one of those.

Don't bother with the 12volt things, utter rubbish. I have a regular one in the garage that was used once and left on the shelf. Wet/dry needs the suction power provided by the wattage of mains power. Check eBay for a Bissel or Vax. Or just take it to Polska car wash and get them to do it. |  | | |
