No spoilers.

I finished season 2 last night, and not sure if I should've joined up more of the plot threads already or whether it's more a case of a few being left for Season 3. I've been watching them late at night, so there have been a couple of occasions I might've dropped off and missed a bit, but not sure if I would've missed anything crucial.

Seasons 1 and 2 well worth a watch if you haven't already.

I thought I had it figured out until the Trade Minister had his "experience"

I thought the 2nd season was far better than the 1st.

Yes, that's what threw me off, wondering where that was going, and if I'd missed anything there.

Agree 2nd was better, but both very good.

Second series was much better. Both well worth a watch though.

I suppose the 2nd needed the first to get to know the background and the characters though, otherwise, there would've been far more I didn't understand.

Edit: Having now finished Season two... what should be next on my Amazon viewing list - is Bosch any good?

Mr Robot.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

I've heard a couple of mentions of that. Will give it a look. Cheers.

It's pretty good. I enjoy the dystopian storyline far more than the acting.

Basically Rufus Sewell and Joel de la Fuente are the only two actors who can actually, er, act. They pretty much carry the entire show. Sewell is genuinely un-nerving.

Luke Kleintank, by comparison, is dreadful. Awful. I mean, Joe Blake is a weak character anyway, but Kleintank does nothing to help him at all.

Poll: Danny Karbassiyoon, or Kim Karbasheran?

Yeah, the acting is hit and miss isn't it?

I read the book a few years ago and the TV show is quite different really. Julia's character is really weak in the book.

Though the second series moves further on from the book and into what Philip K Dick would probably have intended with the alternate reality.

Oh, and the 2 you mention are both chilling characters aren't they?

Absolutely. One of the things I admire about the show ('like' isn't the right word) is how I end up feeling a degree of empathy with OG Smith at times (less so Kido).

It's very well written and produced, but the main casting is, as you say, hit and miss.

By the way, I'm 3 episodes deep into The Handmaids Tale. It is, completely, the most unpleasant series I think I've ever watched; yet brilliant with it. Get on it, if you haven't already (E4), but it's absolutely not a show you can binge on.

Think of SS GB that the BBC did such an awful job with recently if you saw any of that, transport it to the States and make it 1000% better and you'll be in the right ballpark.

I enjoyed the first season without thinking it was anything exceptional but season 2 is a whole 'nother level. And agree with the comments above, Rufus Sewell is superb.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Watching American Gods, it's good but totally nuts.
