Garner (assuming he signs) 10:03 - Jun 16 with 3038 views | C_HealyIsAPleasure | I am quietly confident. Mick's permanent striker signings here can essentially be broken down into two pots: - players which we've invested a decent amount in (by our standards) either in wages or fees to be in and around the starting 11 - players picked up cheap to pad out the squad Of the players Mick has signed, I would breakdown as per below. Obviously there is an element of conjecture to this so feel free to disagree: Key signings: Murphy, McGoldrick, Sears, Pitman Cheap options: Nouble, Ebanks-Blake, Varney, Bajner, Hunt, Alabi, Best, Moore Of those we've invested in, only Pitman hasn't really worked out, and even he bagged 14 in his time here. The cheap pickups have been much more of a mixed back, but that's to be expected Mick has a good track record in this area, and hopefully what he has seen in Garner is something that can fill the glaring hole in our front line since Murphy left

Garner (assuming he signs) on 10:06 - Jun 16 with 3004 views | JackSted | Fee, wages, and personal terms are all agreed with Garner so he has 100% signed. Only reason it isn't announced yet is because of minor paperwork at Rangers' end.

Yeah that's probably true Knudsen has been a decent squad player but arguably not quite delivered as much as would be expected, and I'd argue Douglas was probably viewed as a significant signing that certainly didn't pan out. Struggling to think of others although probably a couple I've forgotten

Cameron Stewart the total failure. Tommy Oar didn't work out but may not have cost as much with way contract terminated

Agree on both counts. I'd forgotten all about Stewart!

Garner (assuming he signs) on 12:56 - Jun 16 with 2687 views | TheBlueBarca | Pitman finished top scorer here - I would hardly say he's a flop, he even look good against Newcastle towards the end of the season when we played a game less restrictive to the frontmen!

Flop possibly not, but I'd say he's definitely been disappointing compared to what was expected from him Plus he's really not that good [Post edited 16 Jun 2017 16:59]
