Surprised The Bends is so low down on peoples lists.
I know you are a bit of a superfan, I have never seen them live but from what I've heard from people that have is that they can be a bit like New Order - hit and miss |
It's got some phenomenal songs, but it's not a great album for me.
I've seen them five times and am a bit blinkered, but I've been blown away every time. I wanted to see New Order at a festival in Berlin last year but I was overruled in favour of dance music. |  | | |

Not sure if you caught the Radio X show last night? Had an interview with Radiohead's drummer and played the album in full and also 3 new extra tracks which are to be added to the new version of the album.
The show was called X-Posure with John Kennedy. It was very interesting. My other half is a big fan of Radiohead!
Hope you can get to hear it on some form of a catch up service. |

Just watched their set and as good as it was (actually it was very good and much longer than I expected) they only played two from The Bends.
At least they played Fake Plastic Trees .
Good show, although "Our Thom" looks like a disheveled Paul Whitehouse but thankfully he seems to be getting more human in his old age. |  |
