after you said that you expect manslaughter charges i asked the question: who do you expect manslaughters charges to be brought against? you seemed to be anticipating the outcome of the police investigation so i thought you must know who would be charged. how can you expect manslaughter charges without having a view on whose actions amounted to manslaughter?

Quite easily. People were living in an unsafe tower block. I expect manslaughter charges for those responsible.

What bit of this are you not getting? Why are you even questioning it? I'm trying to understand your ire but I'm not getting it.

Why are you questioning the possibility of manslaughter charges?

So why were you questioning me when I said I expect manslaughter charges?

McDonnell has gone further and declared them murdered by political decisions and by extension politicans.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jun/25/grenfell-victims-murdered-by-po

He says over "decades" which would indicate he likely blames the whole New Labour tenure as well.

Some lovely language from him there, I especially like the bit about democracy failing, not sure what his choice of government is though:

“Is democracy working? It didn’t work if you were a family living on the 20th floor of Grenfell Tower. Those families, those individuals — 79 so far and there will be more — were murdered by political decisions that were taken over recent decades.”

Do you think this kind of language is in any way helpful at the moment?

this is hard work.

I haven't questioned the possibility of manslaughter charges. you're not thick enough to think i have.

if you expect manslaughter charges you must have a view as to which particular actions amounted to manslaughter. yes? so my question from the start has been which actions (and by whom) amounted to manslaughter? I'm personally happy to wait for the outcome of the police investigation, but you clearly already have a view since you've said you expect there to be manslaughter charges.

do you accept that no one allowed people to occupy the flats after they had failed a fire safety test? it's a question that requires a simple yes or no answer.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

Simple, his choice of government would eventually be a one party socialist state controlled system. Chairman John & President Jeremy.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

I hear he pissed off the food and drink vendors brother, by feeding the whole Glastonbury crowd with five loaves and two fish whilst turning water into Pinot Noir.

They had no chance of selling their over priced burgers and lukewarm watered down Carlsberg after that.

That was newsworthy because it was an uncommon event. I doubt there was no violence or criminality as Glastonbury right? I'm sure, for example, absolutely no one took any narcotic substances all weekend?

I bet you there was coke taken at Ascot over the week than Glastonbury.

I re call that the reason Corbyn went to Glastonbury was to launch a charity with Michael Eaves. I haven't heard his speech, but have read some reports of it. Did he launch the charity, and make it the centrepiece of his speech?

I think he thanked the farm hippy guy for all the money the event raises for charity (fair play) but certainly didn't launch a new charity.
