Skuse, however we wish, is one of those that MM will put first on his team sheet.
Not that I agree.
But we do need a midfielder to shield the middle of the back 4. And at the moment he's the best we've got.

Non sure why you would want to play Chambers or Webster out of position as are they not right side central defenders? If you want to play both and not Skuse why not play with three central defenders and add Smith, or Knudsen. Webster could play in the middle of a back three and would no doubt distribute the ball better than Skuse. |  |

If MM continued with 532 then I'd change Smith for Skuse. I don't see any reason to keep Skuse in holding position in that senario. He had a moderate season and is year older/slower! When he plays the whole tempo slows down and if we play with the other 3 there would be more pace and goals. |  | | |

Surely if you were to have 5-3-2 then skuse would be fine in the 3 with the other 2 CMs being the more creative, i.e. Huws & Ward | | | |

Not enough goals in the OP's team for me
Garner is the only striker in the team and a poor scoring record at this level I think we need to get Sears or McGoldrick in too as I think they can score given a run in the team whilst fit and in their best position! |  |

Agree with this. Cant see Garner as a lone striker.
Sears is the best goal scorer we have on the books, but I cant see him being used properly. He would probably operate well off Garner. |  |

Not much difference from our team of last season, Collina replaces Lawrence, who was our best player, Garner comes in for Didz? who was our only player who could put his foot on the ball and pass to feet. Still need more signings if we are to improve this season. |  | | |
