For me it's the addition of Garner, someone who has the potential to fit Mick's plans and bring the likes of Celina, Huws etc into the game. Huws and Celina definitely add some bite and excitement to the midfield...hopefully goals too. Still need a few more though, McGinn and Leko would put me in higher hopes of reaching playoffs. | |

I was basing it on the rumour that Emmanuel might be heading out on loan. If he does stay then we're covered, personally though, I think he needs a full season of regular football somewhere.
We have cover for each position, but the cover for each position isn't a natural like for like player. For instance, Chambers is best centrally but can play at RB...and as our captain, leading from the back with Webster (or Smith) I think it will be important to keep that partnership consistent, not be swapping it when inevitable injuries occur. Also, I was always of the opinion Spence was a CB who could play RB. I just think a loanee out and out fullback would give us extra stability for what is a long season...as right now, arguably our only natural fullback is Kenlock. | |

Given how poor we were at making chances last season (and possibly the one before, Murphy was having to battle for his own most of the time) I wouldn't want to judge Sears, Pitman and McGoldrick purely based on last season.
