Priceless ancient artworks destroyed by people taking 'selfies' with them. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/item/e772ffb5-3dd1-472a-9cba-d41801184011 If I see a beautiful piece of art or significant museum piece I'd like to have a photo of my immediate thought wouldn't be, "now what would complete this image is me gurning away awkwardly next to it"
This is reactionary tripe. The defining artforms of the 21st century will be the selfie and the photobomb. These fusty old artworks were reimagined by the selfiestructionists, was an act of gross ludditism by the museums to have the work of these pioneers undone.
