Cricket fans 19:45 - Jul 23 with 2341 views | Johnhoz | I witnessed something fairly special today, at Headingley Ross Whiteley hit 36 off 1 over today, for Worcestershire. 6 sixes. The over went for 37 as there was a wide in there too. Karl Carver was the unfortunate bowler for Yorkshire Edit Karl Carver bowled 2 overs and returned figures of 0 for 47 Steven Patterson bowled 3 overs and returned 1 for 8. Slight difference there !!! I saw Gayle put one a similar distance towards Kennington against England in a T20 a couple of years earlier. Perhaps not as impressive as seeing Jimmy Anderson hit a six at Lord's earlier this month. | |
