Sad all round really. It did seem like they were clinging to the very smallest of hopes... as is a parents instinct.
No winners on this one, I hope the rest of his life is as comfortable as possible.

He did well to hold that together and I truly hope that they move on.
I feel sorry for them, the amount of information that they have had to digest and process, whilst contending with emotion seems to have clouded judgement. |  |
