Nothing wrong with traditional, centre right Conservative politics. It's just what the UK needs at present.
Let's face it, the weird, crazy liberalism of Blair and Cameron and now May is destroying the social cohesion of the country. They have not been representing the majority views of the nation.

JRM has quickly become my top politician albeit amongst a generally mediocre bunch. I'm not sure the wider public are prepared to go for someone who speaks like he does - thick people will dismiss him as being too posh. He needs to rack up some solid ministerial experience. |

I've met the guy twice in Midsomer Norton ( Somerset ) where I live close by.
The first time was 10pm ISH on a Friday night. I was outside the pub and he was speaking to random people when new to the area to find out their thoughts. We spoke for around 40 minutes and he was perfectly pleasant. Did listen.
The second time he was trying to get voters for the Tory. He decided he'd try Ladbrokes... he entered and was getting pelters. I walked out with him after convincing him to leave.
He seemed to think going to a bookies this day was a good way to attract voters. The public ( rightly so ) felt the opposite- and why the hell aren't you around the rest of the year. Again I had a good chat with him about all this and he did seem to listen.
He was also on the Ali G show in the late 90s! |  | | |
