So a 1 in 12 chance of getting Norwich - gets better.

Although you know we'll get Cardiff away.

Why have the fooked the cup up with this nonsense?

Why no Tuesday night in delights like Accrington or Carlisle etc?

Bullshat.

It usually is as we played at Carlisle a few years back.

Appears they have done this to avoid a tie between Newport and West Ham who both cannot play at home at present. Newport are a north non seed while Birmingham and Wolves are south non seeds. Joke of a competition.

I'm getting excited at the prospect it's gonna be Norwich now!

Reading at home nailed on.

It'll be some tinpot Prem club probably away, we've been to loads of times that will then turn us over 2-0 or something.

My guess is Watford.

Anyone but Norwich please. Not scared of playing them or any of that crap but the second round of a tin pot cup is not a grand enough stage for a derby IMO. There's a chance MM wouldn't play a full strength team as he has said the next round will be useful to give certain players another game.

Brentford at home please. If both Norwich and us are in round 4 then great, we can play them.

Truly impaired.

2. Brentford yes away
3. Brighton & Hove Albion no
4. Cardiff City no
5. Crystal Palace yes away
6. Fulham yes away
7. Norwich City yes home or away
8. Reading no
9. Southampton maybe away
10. Swansea City no
11. Watford yes away
12. West Ham United yes home (can't play away)

That would not be convenient for me because I am on holiday when 4th round is due so please forget that idea.

edit-5th round would be ok.

Haha, Birmingham and Villa are in different regions apparently!

Ones in the North side of the draw, the other in the South.

I think it's been very hastily regionalised due to West Ham and Newport not being able to play home games. Wasn't regionalised when I looked this morning!

But you don't go to games J2 so does it make any difference to you?

Any home game would suit me or somewhere closer to home.

Indeed

Cardiff or Swansea away is a definite no for me.

Looks like a half decent game, whoever it may be.

I assume all eventualities have been accounted for, like who would be seeded if Sunderland lose tonight? - Not sure who was next in the table in the Championship, but assume they are northern???

I did Cardiff in the league last year and vowed that I wouldn't do it for a normal league game again. I'd do them as a play off game or a big cup quarter final but that's about it

I thought we missed out on being seeded by one place and then some teams lost last night who finished above us.

This regionalisation effect has totally ruined it and presumably meant that we miss out on a seeding because of ridiculous geography.
