About how their Judge wasn't the only player to have a leg broken by an Ipswich player that season - who else are they referring to?

Douglas apparently in the opening match. Given Douglas had been an Ipswich player for about five minutes I'm not sure what that says about his previous club.

I do hope we beat them tomorrow, some of their fans have become insufferable.

The only one that springs to mind was Ekstrand - but that was the season before, and although he royally screwed his leg up, I'm not sure it was actually broken.

I think they were referring to George Thorne, who broke his leg late on in a challenge with Jonathan Douglas the final game of the season at Derby.

That's a fair pile of assumptions you've jumped to there.....

...and after he enjoyed kicking Jonny Williams into another injury layoff, not many town fans were all that concerned.
