Think a few people on here said they were running this, how did we all get on?
Actually turned out that I had forgotten to enter, however a mate tweaked his hamstring midweek meaning I could take his place. Finished in 47:01 which was my quickest 10k for a while, but annoying that I missed sub-47 by a second and got beaten in a sprint finish by another mate!

Was hoping to break an hour in my first ever 'race' that wasn't a Park Run and did 56:59.7 according to the chip timing so well happy with that.
Actually enjoyed it, struggled a bit 2nd tune up museum street as picked up a stitch by the Drum and Monkey but managed to keep going through it - really pleased with it all |  |

Didn't do it, but ran a 26.02 5km this morning which is my PB by around 30 seconds, so well pleased with that. [Post edited 19 Aug 2017 10:38]

Yeah Museaum Street was a bit of a drag, but I did find having the 8km mark at the top something of a boost - knowing just 2km to go and pretty much all downhill/flat! | |
