RIP to town fan Gordon Holloway who sadly passed away today, Gordy was a bit of a local legend on the SIL scene playing for Fram, Stonham and Haughley, he was also a massive ITFC fan and Ipswich witches fan and at 52 was taken to young. RIP Gordan.

Played a few sunday games with him in his later years, but knew him before that through Haughley connections.

I can honestly say I have never known a guy to be as physically fit as him, and then this happens.

Just goes to show that everybody needs to treat everyday as special as you never know what's round the corner.

RIP Hollo

I knew Gordon very well through playing football and family and he was an absolute gentleman and an all round decent human being. Not many people I can say that about.

He had been very ill for a while but the news this morning that he had passed away still knocked me for 6.

Although I don't think I knew him, I played against those teams many times

That is no age and very sad for all concerned.
