What on earth has happened there? In the 'long form' of the game it seems a good score nowadays in an innings is 200 and 150 - 175 is normal!

More runs are often scored in the T20 smash or whatever it is called.

and Essex could well be champions, something very odd going on.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Unlike the Premier League in football, anyone can win it

Much like the old Division One days I guess?

The standard of batting is falling away, to much white ball cricket.

Also when people get out playing attacking shots while trying to save a game just say that's the way I play.

Plus batsman have it all in their favour, the minute they get on a turning or seaming track they don't have the technique or patience to survive.

Somerset are a strange team. Capable of beating anyone. I fear for Essex in this one.
