I don't know and don't pretend to know.
Streaming, including even legit stuff like YouTube is out of sync.
Video plays fine but the words come half a second before being mouthed by the singer.
That can't be right. Watching a film is an obvious no no.
Connectivity thingy shows 65mbps. Whatever that means. |  |

If the video is coming through consistently with the audio out of sync that does suggest a non-bandwidth issue.

I have and Opera seems a tiny bit better - but not enough.
(On that subject Dan, I only downloaded Opera recently and have to say I quite like it. It seems less 'bogged down' than Chrome, if that makes sense).
So you and Tc are suggesting it's a hardware issue? | |

I don't think it's a hardware issue if it was working before, more likely a software issue recently introduced.
Updated anything lately? Got any 'offline' videos to try - taking the network bandwidth truly out of the equation? | | | |

A mate loaded a film onto it some time ago and I think that was out of sync too. I'd forgotten.

Ah, yes. Thing was set to automatic updates but there was a small queue stacking up anyway. I dunno.
Still, all done and seems to be working again.
