Why does Mick nearly always feel the need to have a dip at Phil. Decent question , no op for Huws what treatment instead?

Probably because Mick thinks he represents us - and most of us on here haven't been too kind to Mick in the last couple of years (rightly so).

Yeah, probably recognises Phil as threat - he's going to ask some difficult questions. Go on Phil, let him have it!!!

For me he just gets aggresive when he might have to answer an awkward question or two!

Problem is, Phil effectively hosts all the negativity on here, on the site he runs. So, it shouldn't be a surprise.

Don't think he took the question in quite the spirit I intended, genuinely wasn't having a dig about treatment, was trying to get more of an idea of what the approach was, reflecting something a Welsh colleague said to me the other day and comments on here. I have to admit, I had missed the early bit to Brenner when he started to touch on that side of things in more general terms.

I doubt Mick has ever looked at anything on here, so it would surprise me if that was a factor.

Didnt sound as though you where having a dig Phil just asking what the approach was going to be. I find it hard to understand why he can be so defensive to your questions.

It's because he's an egostical gobshte who, when questioned or probed clams up and tries to belittle the person asking.

It won't be popular on here but he's my most hated Ipswich manager since I've been going in 1991, he makes my blood boil. I'll get 20 odd down arrows but there you go.

He is anticipating all the flack when he doesn't pick Celina in the starting 11 whilst persevering with Sears.

He's trotted out the 'Celina hasn't trained since Thursday' line.

Celina will be another on the list of 'why did you sign him?' 2012-2017. With more than 80 odd players signed in that period (16 debuts this season already).

No he hasn't.

And to your other post, you could hardly say Roy was a joy when it came to doing pressers either, and was surely less popular overall.
