This Stephen Manderson, the more I see of him, the more I like him

His programme on homelessness a little while back was in a similar vein wasn't it.

Likeable chap who seems to care about the plight of others. You're like to think being shown on the country's most prestigious channel that someone, somewhere might take some notice.

Does this reflect the programmes made by Ken Loach in the 60's about the plight of the poor in the UK?
Harold Wilson did react but I am not sure that most todays MP's would even consider it a problem, if they did they would not have allowed things to become so desperate.
