I am sure we have all been in situations like this over the years. You can blame booze and other people for your reaction, but in the end it is down to the character of the person on how they behave. Personally I would rather walk away, and have done so even under the influence and with extreme provocation. I think this just shows there is a nasty side to Stokes. There really is no excuse to what happens after the initial incident.
The Harvey Price incident has now come out and this is typical of the British press. A guy at the top of his sport, and now they have an opportunity to kick him down. No doubt they will hunt out everything to prove he is a lout. Could be the end of a career if that happens.
He only has himself to blame though. Such high profile sportsmen in an age where everything can be filmed 1 way or another, out boozing to the early hours. |  |
