Good news!

I lost my Grandma to cancer so I saw her slowly decline over a number of months. It wasn't nice to see.

So even though I don't know you, I'm glad you seem to be making a good recovery. It's a nasty, nasty thing but I'm sure, one day, a cure will be found.

All the best, and Up The Town!

Great news Benters

I know how worried you are before your check ups.

Go out and have a few Ghosties to celebrate.

Great news bud.

Will you still have to keep going for check ups after the 60 month program has finished, if you are still all clear on the final one?

At the start they told me it was a 5 year check up period,as time goes by it goes it increases to 6 months.

The specialist told me yesterday my target was December 2017 but as i had a operation in March it increased to that date so i am aiming for March 2018.

Yesterday he said if everything is ok in March they will see me in 1 year, and to be honest i wouldnt mind going every year.

Positive news mate. I can also see that go for yearly check ups would probably be more reassuring as well.

How's the gardening going? I can only cut my grass once a week over here for the last few weeks, because we have been having so much rain.

Glad to hear your news Benters, long may your good health continue.

*edited my post as in hindsight, its way too intense to be posting, one of those things that you vent and then realise it wasn't best thing.

I wanted to give you an uppie for putting that all down so coherently (well, an edit needed in the final line but who's counting) yet somehow it doesn't seem the right thing. A tough situation for you all and hope your mum improves - only thing I can think to suggest is to show her Benters OP and explain how people who often seem to be at each other's throats come together in well wishing when a recovery is underway.
