Norwich gate vs normal 01:16 - Oct 3 with 23981 views | Currie10 | So Norwich tickets are on sale for people with a booking reference. A quick look at the seat map shows sales are going well, and I'd imagine a good whack will get sold today which is great. I'd expect the crowd to be over 25.000 this time. However, this makes me wonder - * I get the fact Nodge is the big game and people want to go. However, have people lost interest in games such as Bolton / Bristol City / Fuham etc? * Is price a factor for most games? * People staying away because of Mick / Evans? * Perhaps people go 3 4 times a season and Norwich / Villa / Leeds are the types of game you'd be happy to spend $$$$ on. 10.000 is quite a difference! Norwich gate vs normal on 06:08 - Oct 3 with 12464 views | Benters | Last season with the Norwich game being our 2nd home game gave us a crowd of 23350. This season and with giving away a 1000 tickets for the Birmingham game our average gate is 15777. Compare that to last season at the same time the average gate was 17773. I forecast a crowd of 21'000.

I thought general sale commenced today so have to lower my original gate prediction. You're right I feel - unlikely to shift such volume. However be interesting to see what it ends up being. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Norwich gate vs normal on 09:09 - Oct 3 with 12164 views | Bobbychase | When I were a lad Norwich tickets were like gold dust. I can still recall in relatively recent times friends of mine who weren't ST holders queuing in the wee small hours to get them for the home derby. Would struggle to understand anyone staying away from Norwich at home because of Mick or Evans. That means you dislike them more than Norwich which I wouldn't be able to get my head round.

And how many times have we played them since 2001... And yes I'll pick & choose the games till we consistently return to form & I start enjoying going again, years of watching thoroughly tedious mediocrity games tends to put you off and you find better ways of spending your leisure time & money, Norwich is just one of those games if you can go to you will try to, midday on Sunday is still royal pita but it is what it is, be nice to win for once

Coming over from Bristol, expect we will have to leave well before 9am. I'd leave at 2am if I thought we had a chance of turning them over.

I try and make half a dozen or so home games with the main bulk of my ticket purchasing being away days in the North and midlands. Like you say when you see the fixture list, Norwich at home is the one you look out for and make plans to attend if you can. For me it's been the best pre match atmosphere since the halcyon days of Burley and possibly even Royle and I think everybody who goes wants to experience a nearly full ground and good atmosphere which you have more chance of in this match as there will be more in the ground

In our current situation the derby is as big a game as it comes plus a win is long overdue. Been fortunate enough to see us beat them many times over the years and miss that feeling. They're not Barcelona but are coming into form. Let's hope they defend like they did at Millwall and we attack like we did against Sunderland.

Well I'm in a roundabout way for home games in that camp - when in the UK live around Bath however part of the SW supporters club and do 8-15 away games per term. Home I must confess I'm not good with!

Do you really think a team like Ipswich has 'plastic fans'. I can understand if you're talking the likes of Manchester United/City or Chelsea. But we've been in the championship as the most average team you can possibly find for years now. I get the impression people pick and chose to go to the games that seem 'worth the money'. I know we can argue and say a 'real fan' would pay to go every game. But some people can't make every game and have to chose when to make the commitment, which most would chose the biggest game of the season. If Ipswich had plastic fans I'd think they'd have moved on to a top 4 prem team a long time ago rather than attend the odd Ipswich game still.
