Some general questions out of interest....
1) Is Morgan's show on ITV well watched? I take it no GMTV?
2) Does the BBC still have breakfast news, similar format?
3) Does anyone still listen to Radio 1 anymore? Or is it only young kids? I am pretty sure their ratings were decent back in the day with Moyles and his ilk even for young adults. That was before the days of streaming everything. Or is radio dead
4) Speaking of which does he still have a show on another radio station?

Radio 6 is everything Radio 1 wishes it could be. Get on tunein or Iplayer.

Moyles reminds me of sixth form, university and my early career. I had a love hate relationship with him back then now I think he's an idiot.
Quite liked his crew on there back in the day but then again I was ten years younger. I bet his ratings most be rubbish nowadays.

Dunno about Radio 1, but it seems like it's going for the teen audience but can't say for certain as I never listen to it. | |

The plethora of smug, puerile banter on BBC Breakfast means that I can rarely stand watching it for more than about 5 minutes; the bonus is that I have discovered that Sky News is heaps better (even worth putting up with the ad breaks). |  |

6 Music prided itself on not having a particular 'playlist' to follow.
Playlists are the scurge of R1 & other commercial pop stations, which have to play the same song once in the morning / once in the afternoon / once in the evening.
Unfortunately, 6 Music has gone that way now.
KEXP is the only music radio station I listen to now via my KODI TuneIn app. |  | | |
