According to Kurdish/Syrian forces the last pockets of resistance in the Islamic State's "capital" have been taken. That leaves only a few towns in the middle Euphrates valley under their control (which Assad's Syrian Army are rapidly advancing through).
That 7% figure comes from an article from Russia Today.
Who conducted their poll ... and how? I mean it's going to be pretty difficult to work out a representative sample, given the disparity (sectarian, political and cultural/ethnic) of those who have fled Syria, let alone reaching them.

Because you will just say that those refugees that took part in the survey must of been predominantly pro-Assad Alawite Shias who are often pretty fond of massacres and atrocities themselves.

Assad is no angel, Syria under him took part in the CIA rendition program which the UK supported. He is no worse than the other secular leader in the ME but a whole lot better that Saudi, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain etc who the UK actually arm, support and have good relations with.

Yes, like most Islamic states, Kuwait is not especially tolerant in matters of religion (although it is generally more tolerant than some). However, that still doesn't make its regime worse than Assad's - Kuwait has not massacred many of its citizens.
