Soon to be moving into a new flat. Know the owners through friends of friends.
Been waiting a while till the current occupants leave & it has now become available.
Anyway, had a quick tour of the place last week & everything seems fine.

The shop underneath the property is going to be some Turkish restaurant. Sweet.

However, I was told that before that, it was actually a reptile shop. Essentially, it was a HUGE snake shop. Venomous & non-venomous.

I joked, "Did any escape at all?" - my answer was shrugged off with a smile.

But seriously. I think that would have been a game-changer for me & I wouldn't have wanted to live there.

Not a massive fan of snakes. I don't think I would have slept a wink at night.

I think the 'game-changer' for me would be living over a Turkish restaurant!

Is the property furnished? Get someone to check everywhere before you move in. Snakes need food and they wouldn't survive unless they had a regular supply.

Of course there could be rats in the flat that they can eat.
