I sit near the window in my office, (shared with 4 others).
I have shut the window this week as its been a bit breezy, and there are workmen outside. Another guy who sits further away from the window keeps opening it (when i'm not there, literally i can leave for a few minutes and he will have opened it)
I've shut it again and no doubt he will open it again. seems to be a bit of a cold war going on here.

I have this with the women who sits opposite me, she hates 'unnatural light' so often turns our light off (which is the length of the distance between us) in fact one day this week she came in at midday and first thing she did was turn it off after I'd been in since 9.
She also opens her window beside her (a side opening window) which often funnels the breeze straight into my face and the women behind me, whilst she claims to "not feel anything"
I have come to the conclusion that as a 50 year old women who has always lived on her own she hasn't got the concept of shared spaces and is not someone who can be reasoned with using a rational approach.. So I am that guy who shuts windows, turns on the lights (hides the remote) and then puts me earphones in and ignores any loud tutting |  | | |
