Adeyemi well upfield just strolling back. Even Waghorn was sitting deeper than him at that moment and trying to help out.

Subbed not long afer that.

Was it fitness, injury or something else?

That right side of ours was a real problem all game. If you can dare put yourself watching that again, all their attacking threat game down that side of the pitch.

Maddison looks a very good player. I'll tell you what let him keep shooting with his right and he'll score, oh he did!

Indeed they barely attacked at all down our left as they were getting so much time and space on the other side.

That's the trade-off with Waghorn. He leaves Spence horribly exposed but could just as easily make the breakthrough for us.

if you want to point the finger at anyone it should be defenders who were behind the ball. Chambers backed off and gave Maddison all the room he needed.

Chambers played his normal game, he gave away possession needlessly lost count of how many times he put it ought for a throw in even when under no pressure.

looking at the stats Norwich had half our dangerous attacks. They had more throw ins than attacks.

We were wasteful up front and paid the price. Not sure what Mick put in the teas at halftime but we played with less passion in the second half but then Mick doesn't do cups not it seems local derbies.

Wasn’t Skuse still getting back in position as well after being off following his knock he had treatment for?

Yes. Adeyemi barely got out of a trot in the second half and Skuse was recovering from his injury. Hence the massive hole in front of the defence. Adeyemi shouldn't have even come out for the second half going by how unfit he looked.
