Until we start singing for McCarthy to go and make it uncomfortable for Evans 21:46 - Oct 22 with 877 viewscarlisleaway

And also making the media aware that we have had enough. For those of you on this board who are happy with MM all I can say you are very easily pleased. Even if we won the odd game he still has to go.

Vocal displeasure won't affect a damn thing. Any derogatory words or song would only bounce off McCarthy's rhino skin and be rendered ineffective. If you want to make a stand, there are other ways to put a point across.

Some years ago Burnley Football Club had a campaign underway to remove their owner who had reached intolerable proportion, where at (during) a certain time in the game (at home venue) all those who were dissatisfied with the way the club was being run were asked to turn their backs on play for two minutes ... and more than three-quarters of those present did so.

The said owner soon vacated and obviously in subsuquent years the club has made itself recognized and competitive once again.

Surely an idea to consider. Singing won't remove anyone's ass from position, but facing away from a game in unison may just have a desired effect.

While not happy with recent results, how the hell is Mick or anyone for that matter supposed to achieve anything given the financial backing?

If Mick or Royle had been given 1/4 of the total $$$ Magilton / Keane and Jewell spunked down the toilet, I fully believe we'd have gone up 04/05 at a canter under Royle, and had a very good chance 14/15 under Mick.

Have a feeling when Mick does go, we're a club in free fall.
