Just had an email from Tom van Hulsen regarding the death of Hans Kraay, who played a pivotal but unsung role in Town's history:
The man who tipped Bobby Robson about Arnold Mühren, Hans Kraay, passed away yesterday. 81 years old. Former Feyenoord player, and former manager of (amongst others) AZ Alkmaar, Ajax and Feyenoord and technical director of PSV Eindhoven. Father of Hans Kraay (junior), who played for Brighton.

Absolutely, I'd never heard of him but thank you Hans for introducing 2 of my all time favourite Town players. Im sure without them we wouldn't have been anywhere near so successful. |  | | |
