Pathetic 17:43 - Oct 28 with 12692 views | Archer4721 | A good win today coming from behind,10th in the table, 1 point off play-offs, game in hand and all our fans are still blubbing. You lot need to take a long hard look at yourselves.

Pathetic on 17:44 - Oct 28 with 8530 views | portmanking | It's. not. enjoyable. You're getting very boring now. Even Brenner and Mathie were taking pot shots at the style of play throughout the game. That style of play is not sustainable for a successful season. Period.
Pathetic on 17:46 - Oct 28 with 8502 views | Luk38644 | The game was sh*t. Last week, you were saying 'We lost but played well, stop blubbing', well this week is the opposite. I'll take the 3 points as much as anyone but come on, let's not act like because we beat a struggling Burton, no one has the right to criticise how we played.

Define successful for a team based on lower third of the table investment.
Pathetic on 17:49 - Oct 28 with 8457 views | christiand | Sorry Archer you are purely looking at the short term, today's win. Last week particularly the second half was poor. Today mainly was poor unable to string 3 passes together by all acoounts. We aren't even a team we just seem 11 individuals thrown on to the pitch with no game plan and the hope it will come together. It is no fluke we aren't good enough to beat any of the top sides in this league. Just seems to get worse week on week. Where is the long term plan? Quite frankly we haven't got one. If you are just happy with another uninspiring limited and woeful performance you sir need to have a long hard look at yourself.

MM said playoffs, the reclusive hierarchy continue to spout 'promotion as soon as poss'. If they were honest and said, 'top half finish and see what we can do with a fair wind' we'd be a damn sight less harsh.
Pathetic on 17:52 - Oct 28 with 8413 views | Garv | For how long are we going to take absolute joy in being "one, two, three points off the play offs"? What fcking good is that?! You need to take a long hard look at the football being played and realise fans are bored. [Post edited 28 Oct 2017 17:52]

I think that would be a realistic statement but it wouldn’t be acceptable to the moaners.

I think we’re all entitled to opinionate and look at the bigger picture. It was Burton..Yes Burton and we scored very late to win. I’m elated and not blubbing but there is plenty of cause for concern if you hold up that picture.

When only funds us to lower mid table being a point off play offs is an achievement, wether the plastics are bored or not is another argument.

Pathetic on 19:15 - Oct 28 with 8101 views | braveblue | The football, tactics, team selection and style are awful. Boring. That is why so many stay away and those who travel so far get angry. Pathetic is not understanding that.
Pathetic on 19:24 - Oct 28 with 8068 views | itfcjoe | Hopefully Mick has learned from it, because how he set the team up was awful. Ward made a real difference with genuine width and ability to connect the midfield and attack and a great impact from Celina - think it's very important we play some genuine wide midfielders so can play a proper 442/4231 as so unbalanced other wise

Do you think he will though? How many times have we said that?

He’s got wingers to play 4-4-2, but doesn’t play them - Rowe, Celina and Ward. He seems to prefer to play strikers as wingers which loses aspects of the wide player role for me. I don’t see this need to play Waghorn and Sears as wingers? Does he play them not to upset them, as clearly his first choice pairing up front is Garner and McGoldrick?

Pathetic on 19:56 - Oct 28 with 7970 views | Bluedandy | Oh don't be such a diva .... most Town fans have correctly surmised after 5 years that we will always fall short with MM's brutally pragmatic style of football. In a shockingly poor game against a team destined for League One our winner was scored by a richly talented player desperate to leave because he cannot stand MM ... says it all. If you are happy bumbling along perpetually in the Championship surrounded by an expanding sea of empty blue seats then perhaps you need to take a long hard look at yourself. Pathetic on 20:01 - Oct 28 with 7938 views | Plums | Today competed with the Duncan era for utter garbage. Thankfully we stole three points but there is nothing in the approach that's sustainable. I really feel for our skilful players because they're being compromised by this 'style' of play.

I think their argument is that they would rather gamble with a lesser known manager with perceived potential who could turn a club like ours (lower champ funds) into a promotion chasing team, but more likely has us in a relegation battle. They would be happier than having Mick, who will always over achieve but with a boring style.

Maybe but my feeling is if we pass it around but end up in lg1 people will still be moaning, whereas everyone was cock a hoop with hoofball when in the play offs
