Vienna on 12:05 - Nov 2 with 1256 views | Sarge | I loved it and the ice cream is the best I've had anywhere in the world, my favourite was at Aida next to the church in Stephansplatz. But I went in scorching September so I'm not sure what January will be like for that. Check out Schönbrunn palace, either from the outside or venture in as it's quite large. The museum of military history houses the car and outfit that Franz Ferdinand was shot in. The famous Ferris wheel is on the Prater so you could check that out if you like fairly low key amusement parks. And of course, get yourself a slice of sachertorte. [Post edited 2 Nov 2017 12:44]

Vienna on 12:38 - Nov 2 with 1202 views | TractorWood | I love Austria but have never been to Wien. 3/4 nights may be too much based on my experience of Austria. I've heard Graz is amazing so get on the train and have a day trip there or Bratislava. | |
