On balance and taking all things... 09:26 - Nov 9 with 6021 viewssolemio

into consideration I think Shefki Kuqi, although less skilful was a more valuable player for Ipswich Town Football Club - anyone remember them? - than Pablo Counago.

I think people are quick to forget our dear old Budgie hater, Fabian.
Excellent going forward, a solid defender. Bit of an all rounder.

Wilnis you say?
Unsworth as our gaffer? by BlueBadger 5 Nov 2017 19:39
If we're going for a youngish, Dutch ex-Town player to act as first team coach, I'd go for Fabian Wilnis. He's got the relevant qualifications, is still fairly young and bleeds blue and white.

What relevant qualifications does he have?
(apart from hating Norwich, obviously)

He's done all his coaching badges, I understand.

Trouble with Pablo was he didn't bother much away from home. Is Jonas the new Fabian?

What about John McGreal up the road? Not great stats - but then again neither were Burley's.

What about that Dutch chap that's always mentioned on here & on that Twitter thing.
Couldn't Fab be his assistant? Infact, I reckon Fabian could be more suited to an assistant role IMHO.

How would he be able to tear it up if he was ostracised out on the left-wing?

Also, should penalties count? Even in the third division?

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Are good press conferences and being very famous enough to elevate Roy Keane to merely second worst above Paul Jewell in the 'worst ITFC manager ever' stakes?

I thought the only football managers who have 'relative success' are Norwich ones...

Colchester:
W8
D5
L7

I mean, that's a mixed bag. Not terrible, but hardly impressive.
I guess in percentage terms, it sounds good (40%?) or there abouts.

Think McGreal's is a 36% win ratio.

Yes. He turned a LM into a striker.
Kuqi & Sears are already FWDS - why would they need to go on the wing

Murphy was never a LM, apart from under ITFC's most incompetent managers ever.

No, I agree with you. But it's also a results business. Managers are recruited on their win %'s too.
Although clearly not Moyes. Shocking decision to appoint him as WHUFC manager.

Didn't he play out on the wing under MM at Sunderland?
I mean, he's been a midfielder in his career longer than he's been a FWD.
