As we saw yesterday, many people will not get Universal Credit at all in December. As well as those who have to wait almost three months for their first payment, many who have other income won't get their existing payment during December as there are five paydays in the month, which means they won't qualify.
The tory party must be so proud of themselves. |  |

From what you say, they were involved in a fictious or collusive desertion in order to obtain benefits. That's a crime, prosecutable under either the relevant SS legislation, or the Theft Act.
As you could report this crime email anonymously, nobody would know it was you.
If you don't want to report people for fraud, don't complain about it.

Just googled it. On Citizen's Advice it says they will have an appointment with you to go through your circumstances. People could lie, there's no denying that, but it's quite clear the vast majority of the people genuinely need help. | |
