Malan goes three balls after I tune in.🙄

At least the collapse to 350 all out doesn't materialise.

I should've known you had something to do with it buh ;)

Here we go. Never, ever, give your wicket away for free in test cricket, whether you've got 140 or 3 to your name.

🚨WICKET!🚨

Malan's magnificent innings is over. It seems strange to say but he has got out through pure fustration. His quick scoring day had stalled when Lyon got at him and he eventually came down the track in the hope of going over the top. Unfortunately, he Top edged to point and is caught spectacularly on the dive.

Moeen is in now. Needs an innings as he has looked very weak this series. Arguably the biggegst disappointment of the tour so far. Could that change here?

🚨WICKET!🚨

Nope. No it won't. Alli is gone for a quack. 2nd ball. Short ball from Cummings and Moeen has nervously flicked it to the slips. Awful batting.

He is having a shocker of a tour. Personally, id drop him for the fourth test of his bowling doesn't remarkably improve as he's bringing nothing with the bat.

372-6

Moeen is really stinking this tour up I'm afraid.

We were nailed on for 500+ a few minutes ago and it would have been hard to lose from there. Now 400 looks a bit of a way off!

Such a shame. An in form Ali, an available/picked Stokes could have made a mahoosive difference. Blòody Ashes tours.

He's been such an important player over the last year or so. I didn't expect him to bowl brilliantly in Australia but his batting has been way off.

He probably doesn't need to until Woakes is out. Which is now!

We should have made them toil after lunch but they're in a much better position now.

🚨WICKET!🚨

Cummings takes a catch at fine leg in the deep as Woakes tries to flick the shorter ball off his hip. Instead he loops it up just enough to carry for the catch. Could be failing to reach 450 now which is crazy considering we were 368-4.

For crying out loud, we were looking so safe 25 mins ago, have to eek out another 40/50 but I'd imagine there are two bottoms parping away in the dressing room at the prospect of batting on this pitch!!
FFS not gonna make 400 now

🚨WICKET!🚨

Wtf am I watching? Another wicket. Bairstow tries to flick one off his pads and has his middle stump fly out the ground.

An excellent innings from him. He has played that shot as he's seen the wickets tumble around him and tried to put some runs on the board. Sadly, the gamble on that one has not come off.

We had them, we blòody had them. One rush of a head later, their tails are up and we fold like a pack of cards for the millionth time. It's so utterly frustrating to keep seeing.

This should have been 500 and a tough last session for them under pressure.

Warner will now have a ton by the end!

No Bulgarian Collapso required for an England collapse v. Oz :(

Short ball does the trick. Again. Overton couldn't handle it. Straight to Bancroft at bat pad.

In many ways, this has been the worst hour of the tour.

We should have been in a position where we couldn't lose - 500 towards the end of session 5 and it's hard to lose from there. I wouldn't be surprised now if they get 550 and win by an innings.
