You mean like Preston and Bolton? We beat them at home and Norwich couldn't get a win off either of them. I'm sure there is more examples but one unconvincing win vs Sheff Wed isn't really a revival. |  | | |

No idea - was too busy bringing our newborn home from hospital today to pay too much attention to the game. Just based on the result it isn’t a huge surprise - said before this run of games that getting 3 points against Reading was key and anything else would be a bonus | |

We can't just hope for them all to lose points & slip down the table.
Unfortunately, each week seems to chip away at our chances of gaining those 3rd & 4th placed spots.

Tend to agree that we’ll probably fail to pickup enough points from the top sides to end up in the top 6, but that’s always going to be difficult given our comparitive budgets
In any event an away game at a side like Middlesbrough is always going to be a tough ask. It’s arguably the home games though that I think we’ve given away too many points in - probably need to be getting points against the likes of Fulham, Norwich and Brizzle really, and too many defeats will end up costing us
EDIT: Just to reinforce this point, I’ve taken a quick look at the records of the top 9 away from home against other top 9 sides. Pretty much everyone has 1 or 2 wins from these fixtures - with Ipswich also having 1 away at Derby [Post edited 9 Dec 2017 23:02]
