Massively under appreciated food.

Liver, crispy bacon, mash, onions & gravy.

I could eat it every day.

I have a habit of getting my liver, bacon and spuds out but end up just frying a tonne of liver and just eating that - medium rare.

Liver makes my flesh creep. Along with kidney. Always has ever since I was a nipper. Something maybe about the texture of it - as well as the taste. It was my worst ever nightmare at school when liver was served up. Nothing I could ever do about it, sadly. The rest of my family loved it.

Oh yes, wonderful stuff.

Bit of back bacon in there as well? Mash and peas?

Oh yes, gotta be pink.

If I'm honest, I like liver on toast for lunch.

Same goes for say, pigeon breast, that kinda thing. Similar texture.

Mashed Desiree potatoes (decent quantity of butter and milk), plus a nice red wine gravy.

I used to love all that stuff when I was little. My dad ate it all - liver, kidneys, sweetmeats, heart, I think even brains.

I drew the line at tripe though.

My favorite liver is from the Old Spot pig which I buy from the Wyken farmers market.
English mustard and a dip into a runny egg and it's trough city.

Livers good, but some heart goes nicely in a curry

I like it al (liver, bacon, onions) all cooked together in the gravy.

Haven't had it for year though as my wife can't stand it. Need to put an order in for next time I go to see my old mum I reckon!

I prefer pigs liver.

Rabbit liver over a salad is quite nice.

How very old school of you. Pig's liver is cheaper at least.

Calf or chicken for me.

I bought some lamb's liver today, but pretty much like most.

Chicken favourite as a pate, juniper berries, flame some brandy etc...
