He never abbreviates or shortens names does he?

It's always Queens Park Rangers, Wolverhampton Wandrerers etc.

It's not a moan by the way. A mere observation.

He is very monotonous and wish he'd stop saying "you know " every other word. He just goes on and on so while we respect his views he's supposed to provide expert advice not unending dross.

Yes, he is slightly monotone and tends to overuse annoying expressions like "you know" and "sort of". But he's very intelligent and insightful about the game. Which is more than can be said of various others.

In my opinion Mick Mills is the best RB we have ever had, the best LB we have ever had and probably the best captain we have ever had and is obviously very knowledgeable about the game. I am always at the games so I do not get to hear him during commentary although I sometimes hear him post match.
Whilst all of the above make him very qualified to express an opinion it does not necessarily follow that the opinion that he expresses should always be taken to be the correct one however.

It irks me a little too. Always full name of a player or manager as opposed to first name or, god forbid, nickname. Added to his monotone and slowish delivery, I do find myself willing him to hurry up and make his point. Having said that I do like his take on the game, insight and analysis. Incredibly important to the years of our best success too.

Often referred to by Bobby as my manager on the pitch and a damn good one at that.
