I wouldn't expect to lose my job because of something my mum said.

Witch-hunts and kangaroo courts are the worst thing about twitter & fb, but would you not read books because some of them are awful? Just be selective in what you choose to read! I dislike fb for its very poor functionality actually, but it's incredibly useful for keeping in touch/swapping photos with old friends who've dispersed to the far corners of the earth, and for pressure groups to collaborate/exchange info. |  |
