Evan' choice to offer a new contract.

Then Mick's choice to sign it.

The ball's in Evans' court for now so either he is happy to wait and decide towards the end of the season or he already knows if offered that Mick won't sign it so better not to offer one.

We'll see how much MM feels backed

It must be difficult to walk away having been here for a decent time now

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

All depends on the terms of the option details in the current contract. Wording could be such that the club can exercise the option where Mick has to accept regardless. It could also be worded where Mick has the option not the club or the wording could be a mutual offer and acceptance or refusal .

Also there's the frustration that he seemed to make the right recruitment choices in the Summer and be transitioning us to a better, more balanced team. That's been largely kiboshed by the injuries at the heart of the team but wonder if he feels there is unfinished business or he just fancies a completely new challenge.

Personally, I get the feeling he'll leave rather than try to get some real momentum going here. Too much like hard work when we're now always an injury or a bad result away from going back to square one.

Whichever is the cheapest option.

Everyone on this forum is always wrong.
