They have someone "In House" that checks all websites and social media.

A large cash donating supporter was badly dealt with by the club when he appeared on a certain website.

Suffice to say donations have stopped.

I would assume, just like anybody who has to deal with the media on a more or less daily basis, he gets a regular summary of the relevant press/social media.

You can't be. Mick McCarthy is Irish, and therefore knows what a potato is.

In hockey there was a quote I heard once that a General Manager claimed to not read anything the media puts out there about his team. But it was known in the media that he was so well versed in what was being written he would not only know it word for word but would know where things such as the commas are for example. He knew it in and out.

Are you saying MM is the same with social media crap?

Prime Minister Clem Atlee wouldn't have a ticker tape news feed in Downing Street in 1945. The only thing that changed his mind was being told he could keep up-to-date with the cricket scores.

He was probably the last PM to basically ignore the press.

Why did you go and raise that spectre?

I'm surprised Phl is so lenient with the bans, in that case. I'd expect him to be more trigger happy.

Slaven Bilić Was saying that the West Ham players would check their equivalent of TWTD at half time in the dressing room to see how the fans thought they were playing. I hope Douglas didn’t do that last season.
