Definitely works hard, but at best he is average. No worse than what we have, but not good enough IF we have any intention of pushing on. Can’t see him and Skuse offering enough in the attacking sense. | | | |

I'm not saying Skuse's absence was the reason we beat Preston 3-0; just he wasn't on the pitch for the goals. So when the claim is "we haven't won a game when he hasn't played" it's a slight stretch. "We haven't won a game he hasn't started" can't be argued. | |

Early days but seems to be a typical championship standard midfielder. One thing to note though is that he keeps the ball on the deck...which is a huge bonus. He's not a hoofer...which is a good thing for the team. Two reasonable performances and let's see how he develops. |  |

Competent, tidy on the ball, good squad player who won't let anyone down. I thought he faded in the last half hour on Saturday but not entirely surprising given how little he has played this season.

What we really need is to keep Huws Adeyemi Dozzell Hyam fit plus Downes and Nyam in reserve and of course Skuse if he stays, Bishop if he can get back. Having said that it does seem so much easier said then done! Gleeson has done ok ,he did run out of gas after an hour and should have been replaced earlier on Sat but his fitness will improve of course. |  | | |
