Gleeson so far.... 19:52 - Jan 28 with 7932 views | Currie10 | Those who were at the game v Wolves, Bolton, or both - what have you made of Mr Gleeson to date and could it be worth him sticking around?
Gleeson so far.... on 20:16 - Jan 28 with 6596 views | ipsrichtown | Been impressed, seen both his appearances. Works hard and gives us a more attacking midfield than when Skuse plays

Definitely works hard, but at best he is average. No worse than what we have, but not good enough IF we have any intention of pushing on. Can’t see him and Skuse offering enough in the attacking sense.

Gleeson so far.... on 20:37 - Jan 28 with 6533 views | Basuco | He is a good player already and will get better as he gets more games under his belt. Confident on the ball and a good passer. So far he is a very good signing.
Gleeson so far.... on 20:56 - Jan 28 with 6498 views | The_Romford_Blue | Honestly... I didn’t like him with Connolly. I think he'd be good in a three with a player like Huws. A shame we won’t see that because the latters injury. But yesterday.. I didn’t like it at all.

Preston at home, we won 3-0. Skuse went off injured in the 30th minute; we didn't open the scoring until injury time at the end of the first half.

We’ve only won 13 of 32 games. Lost plenty with him too.

That was a laughable reach at the time let alone now.

How come? We won it without him for most of the match! We seriously missed him yesterday though; they sailed through our midfield at ease.

Because it's so easily countered - we stuck 5 past Sunderland and he played the full 90.

He's doing a job and for me is ok but not what i'd hope for lond term. Anyway I'd kept McDonnell and given him a chance but Mick thought otherwise!

I'm not saying Skuse's absence was the reason we beat Preston 3-0; just he wasn't on the pitch for the goals. So when the claim is "we haven't won a game when he hasn't played" it's a slight stretch. "We haven't won a game he hasn't started" can't be argued.

Gleeson so far.... on 23:37 - Jan 28 with 6165 views | shoopdelang | Looks to be the best all round centre midfielder at the club based on the two performances. Only question is whether he can do it consistently moving forward.
Gleeson so far.... on 01:13 - Jan 29 with 6103 views | GiveusaWave | Early days but seems to be a typical championship standard midfielder. One thing to note though is that he keeps the ball on the deck...which is a huge bonus. He's not a hoofer...which is a good thing for the team. Two reasonable performances and let's see how he develops.

Gleeson so far.... on 03:03 - Jan 29 with 6060 views | harlingblue | Gleeson looks like a good player, in the class of Connolly, who is only on loan from Everton. If we could keep both, it would be great. Huws, Adeami. Dozzell to come back from injury to give us the missing ingredient, a real midfield to supply our attackers.
Gleeson so far.... on 07:48 - Jan 29 with 5959 views | Steve_M | Competent, tidy on the ball, good squad player who won't let anyone down. I thought he faded in the last half hour on Saturday but not entirely surprising given how little he has played this season. The sort of competent squad -boosting player who won't get anyone excited but will give us a bit of depth for the rest of the season.

Looks more like a Grant Leadbitter to me.. seems happy to get hold of it and decent at knocking the ball around with perhaps a little more invention (or perhaps intent) than Skuse has shown for us, but not dynamic enough to really take control of matches
Gleeson so far.... on 12:13 - Jan 29 with 5700 views | BecclesITFC | He is no worse or better than Smith. I think he will fit in this side no problem. nothing special but who is.
Gleeson so far.... on 12:42 - Jan 29 with 5652 views | Wickets | What we really need is to keep Huws Adeyemi Dozzell Hyam fit plus Downes and Nyam in reserve and of course Skuse if he stays, Bishop if he can get back. Having said that it does seem so much easier said then done! Gleeson has done ok ,he did run out of gas after an hour and should have been replaced earlier on Sat but his fitness will improve of course.
