If they were to hate anything (which they don't) it would be your warped and bitter view of this country.

During the election campaign he also promised that he would do away with student fees. Ho ho ho,
That didn’t last long did it!

The mail, express and sun peddle this line because they dislike intensely the quality of the journalism at the BBC, which shows up their own poor work. the sun of course dislikes the superior quality of the best broadcaster in the world.

Interesting.

I think it should be noted however than the margin of error on that graph is about 15% so his cited numbers could be a way off depending on where the true values lie.

The second graph is more interesting. Up to a possible 40% move in younger voters voting for labour, that's the real difference.

It's amazing Jezza did so well with the BBC against him as well but good to see you accepting their pro Tory bias at last.

lots of p*ssed off people of all ages casting a protest vote safe in the knowledge that corbyn would never be elected. didn't need to believe what he promised - but just got to stick two fingers up at may.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

I think it's interesting and certainly an admirable concept. There is definitely an issue with homelessness.

However I think there are two possible issues:

1) How would you feel if you'd been on a waiting list for 5 years and are bumped at least 8000 places down?

2) It's surely open to abuse, if you were on the waiting list why not just become homeless after JC wins and skip the list?

I know there are posters on here who work in this field so they will have a much better grasp of the pros/cons of the policy - hopefully they will post.

What about all the people who pay rent and can't afford to buy? They are technically homeless too and should have houses built for them.

If he comes up with a fully detailed proposal for the next election I would consider voting for him. If it's not concrete and measurable it will go the same way as the promise to write off all tuition fees IMO.

For me it also needs to provide new accommodation for all of these people too... and a plan to do it within five years.

Still don't believe you. I think you've probably mistaken the word 'give' to mean a gift of a house rather than housing being provided to a homeless person temporarily. Naturally you want to believe the one which will allow you to get offended and firs your odd 'Jezza hates Britain' narrative.

Such a snowflake.
