It started many years ago under Royle as I recall. Possibly early Jim? We had some sort of mesh laid under the turf designed to help it all hold together, and it seemed to lead to the top inch scraping up under every sliding tackle.

Unfortunately tonight, we got done with two soft goals and have not really had a sniff despite about 80% possession as the opposition can sit deep and let us play in front of them. | |

Did you watch. Went to the game with Marty and Will, and met up with Simon. Enjoyed the match, and whilst we played some tidy stuff at times, we just did not test their keeper enough. By the time Blackpool were two up, we hadn5 had a shot. But there was some nice football, no lack of effort and desire, and one or two that caught my eye. Obviously Nydam, bu5 also our left back and number 9. Really interested in watching more of the youngsters after that. | | | |

Yes we did and that sums it up buh. Let’s see how Knight progresses, hope he does well. I hope they all do. Yes referee was poor, but to those younguns it would have been an important game so they would have been hyped up for it. By the way I liked their number 9. Not too different from Garner imo.
