pretty spot on.

Even with a new manager, i don't see it getting magically better. We are a lower championship team in money terms, we are closer to getting relegated than promoted in the next few years.

Same sh1t, different manager who when we win might play a better style of football. Mick has overachieved results wise and i think a few supporters are going to get a slap in the face in the next few years.

Slight point of order, Phil. We don't actually know what Huddersfield's wage bill was like for 2016-17, as the figures have not come out yet (unless you've seen something not publicly available).

The figure of £11.09m relates to the previous season, 2015-16. See page 20 of this, the latest return submitted to Companies House: https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/document-api-images-prod/docs/TqB2kRFGVTCQNh_

....poorly placed advert to blame.

Looks like you stole most of your thoughts from my posts on here.

Obviously.

I'll let you off though.

Not as good as your finest moment I was reminded of earlier today, where the delight as you wheeled away afterwards was clearly evident...

Fair point, slightly speculative on my part, but unlikely to have jumped that significantly, ours was £17.78 million last season.

Great minds etc. To be honest, I think I've been saying much the same for two or three seasons.

Referring to oneself in the third person is a sign of Trumpinsons, according to Swansea_Blue.

This will be the legacy of ME. Letting us stagnate during a period of substantial financial change in the division, through a combination of bad decisions and wasting what money was 'invested'. Now we're in terminal apathy, treading water waiting for the next change in ownership.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Actually in that Gazette photo there seems to be a bit of fluff returning to the top of the head there.

Any tips for this phenomenon?

Rubbing coconut oil into the scalp or similar?

Having seen Phil recently I would say that is just an old photo.

Also, as a disclaimer, it is fine for me to mock baldies with me being one.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Good article, young Philip.

You should try becoming a football writer/journalist for a living. You could even try starting a football website.

Ah, so it was still on its way out and not on its way back.

I was hoping for some top tips there.

Or 'hacks' as they now seem to be known.
