I immediately thought about that when the news broke of Heckingbottom going to Leeds.

Mick's situation needs to be put to bed ASAP in my opinion, as it will affect season ticket renewals and also the players who are out of contract.

If he is to stay on, then it's Evans well and truly in the driving seat and he must surely back Mick with some decent funds to mount a serious promotion challenge

No chance, but in all seriousness with Heckingbottom going to Leeds, and now Grayson looking likely to go to Barnsley managers that you'd expect to be on our shortlist are being snapped up whilst Evans and Mick just see our season out

This has applied for at least the last two years so I don't know why anyone thinks Evans is suddenly going to do something different.

Same problems will still exist just a different face to front operations.

I'd be happy for him if he a) wanted the job and b) subsequently got offered the job. I wish him no Ill, he's a manager of a football club not some genocidal maniac wanting world power.

Please note: prior to hitting the post button, I've double checked for anything that could be construed as "Anti Semitic" and to the best of my knowledge it isn't. Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing.

In the case of Mogga or Sherwood he might well have to as they will know how many beans make five. The Cowleys would probably take the promotion and fret over the terms and the handcuffs later.

"he's a manager of a football club not some genocidal maniac wanting world power."

Oh. I think I must have got the wrong end of the stick. :-(

Anyway, Mick To Barnsley. New manager tries to play football. We're all happy.
(Except the genocidal. The genocidal are never satisfied.)

The new manager playing football is all ifs and buts whilst Evan's financial input is set in stone.

In fairness, and I do fully realise Sunderland weren't that good, we played some decent stuff on Saturday and we actually looked properly balanced.

DOn't panic....Pep won't be out of a job until Citeh are knocked out of the CL, so late March - April, so plenty of time for ME to go get him signed up and announce it before the end of the season.
